I am an Independent Professional Celebrant based in St Leonards on Sea , East Sussex dedicated to creating uniquely personal occasions using words rituals and music as well as religious content if required, at the venue of your choice which does not need to be either licenced or consecrated. I also am able to travel further afield to perform ceremonies either elsewhere in the UK or internationally.

When planning a Wedding, Renewal of Vows or welcoming a New Baby , the finer details of the venue the food, the music , colour scheme and your outfits are all given a great deal of consideration as central parts of honouring that special life moment and your invited guests.
But did you know how much more uniquely personal the ceremony could be if you were able to step outside of the constraints of the standard wordings and rituals offered by Registrars and traditional Religious Services?

If you would like to respect and blend elements of your individual spiritual beliefs or nationalities combined into one ceremony then using a Celebrant is also a wonderful option.
Celebrants perform unique ceremonies in any suitable space; you do not need to use a licensed or religious venue to declare your love and commitment to each other, although you will still need to state the Declaratory Words, and the Contracting Words in a Registry Office or licenced venue in order for your marriage to be recognised in law and for a marriage certificate to be issued. This can be done inexpensively and with just two witnesses at any time prior to your celebrant ceremony, or not at all if you do not wish or need your union to be recognised in law.
By choosing a Celebrant you can have the ceremony of your dreams in the place of your choice, whether it’s at home, at your party venue or anywhere else that is meaningful to you either indoors or outdoors.

Based in St Leonards on Sea, East Sussex, with a degree in English & Drama, I have managed many music, theatre and corporate events over the years, as well as being a published writer and voice over artist.
I am always excited to combine these skills to write and deliver unique ceremonies staged to best effect in your chosen setting to reflect your personal style .
Coming from a multi ethnic background, I have been lucky enough to travel extensively, and explore other cultures whilst spending time living in Greece and Spain as well as more recently rural South Africa. In fact my own wedding was a ’Bombay Mix and Biltong’ fusion!
I love creating each individual ceremony by drawing on a treasure chest of ancient tradition and cultural elements as well as creating new rituals based on your personal heritage especially for you.
